The optical digital input (selectable through the DRC HE remote control and from the “Optical / AUX select” terminal) nullifies interferences and signal deteriorations also by-passing the analog signals A/D conversion stages.  Thanks to the configuration Wizard provided by the software during the set-up, the H8 DSP can automatically sum up multiple filtered channels (for instance, woofer plus tweeter), “flatten” the OEM source equalized response curve and reconstruct a centre, rear and/or subwoofer channel with a simple stereo input. By reading the test track on the CD provided, the H8 DSP recreates a full-bandwidth signal, with a flat frequency response and released after processing for an outstanding sound quality.  The H8 DSP features 8 PRE OUT analog outputs each of them including: a 31 band equalizer, a 68 step electronic crossover, Linkwitz- Riley or Butterworth filters with selectable 6 – 24 dB adjustable slopes and digital time delay functions.

Developed according to specific ergonomics criteria required by the Car Audio industry, the PC software facilitates direct access to all the available functions for the signal treatment, providing immediate results, as well as extreme operational accuracy. Setting the parameters of each input single channel, adjusting the delays according to the listening position, tuning the crossovers and equalizers for each output channel; these are just some of the operations that can be managed by the PC software based on Windows platform (XP, Vista, 7,8, 10) to be used in Standard or Expert mode.

The PC software is available in English, Italian, German, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean. The user can select the language and the change will be applied to the drop-down menus as well as to the Context Help messages. The number of available languages will increase: once updates are available, they will be downloadable from the bit Drive portal (www.bitDrive.it).

The provided DRC HE enables the main system control without the use of a PC. Thanks to this device, installed in an ergonomic position within the car dashboard, the user can: choose between two “tuning” configurations previously saved using the PC software; select the source from the master, auxiliary and optical digital inputs ; adjust main system functions (volume, balance, fader and subwoofer volume).

Hertz MLCX 2 TW.3  car audio crossover provides the ability to realize a bi-amplified system, that is, to connect two amplifiers, or anyway two separate channels, to the crossover, so making it possible to drive woofer and tweeter separately.

“Mid-Contour” two-position control, for a linear mid-bass frequency response according to the woofers position in the car and the listener’s favorite sound.

“Mid-Contour” in conjunction with “Hi-Contour” provides the ability to use MLCX 2 TW.3 to build a two way system based on ML 1650.3 or ML 1800.3 woofer together with ML 280.3 tweeter.

Three-position switch for tweeter level adjustments in 2 dB steps, to fine-tune the transducer’s emission.

“Hi-Boost” control, selectable through appropriate switch, to provide better linearity of the tweeter emission above 10kHz when positioned not on axis to with the listener.

Extremely high quality bi-metallized 160V polyester film capacitors with ultra-low DF, for maximum sound transparency and neat mid/hi-frequencies.

Air wound inductors built on pure copper-wire with up to 1mm diameter, for high saturation threshold of the magnetic flux and low losses on the woofer section where high transient currents are demanded.

High power rating wire wound resistors, to ensure performance stability even at high operating temperature.

The significant power increase with this configuration highlights all the features of the MLK 1650.3 Legend system, with all the advantages coming from the multi-amplification. Besides, thanks to the Mid-Contour and Hi-Contour controls, dedicated to the management of woofer cut-off frequency and tweeter cut-off frequency respectively, the cross-point can be varied.

The MPCX 2 TM.3 car audio crossover is specifically developed for MP 70.3 and MP 25.3 when installed in a 3-way multi-amplification system and combined with an MP 165.3/ MP 165P.3 woofer actively driven.

Setting the parameters of each input single channel, setting the delays according to the listening position, adjusting crossovers and equalizers for each of the 5 output channels; all of these operations can be managed by the PC.

Thanks to the integration of the USS technology, the bit Ten can also be connected to headunits featuring the “speaker load detection” circuit that would otherwise mute the audio signal output.

During the installation phase, after converting the analog signal into digital, bit Ten automatically reconstructs a digital full-bandwidth stereo signal; de-equalizes the frequency response and, if necessary, reconstructs the central and subwoofer channels.The user can configure the output mode of each channel relative to the installed system.

Audison Black Digital Most Interface 

The Audison bit DMI connects via optical fiber to the multimedia system.

The interface has an S/PDIF optical output to transfer audio data in Stereo PCM 16bit format, 44.1kHz/48kHz (depending on the system) for use with Audison products with digital input.

Via USB and the appropriate software, the Audison bit DMI can be programmed and updated to work with vehicles equipped with MOST technology.
