The ES-500 might just be our most versatile series of speakers. With nearly a dozen different models timbre-matched for seamless system design and performance levels that exceed anything in its class, the ES-500 series is the perfect answer for a variety of installation needs.

Exceptional low frequency responsiveness is made possible in the 500 series thanks to an injection-molded polypropylene woofer. The high-pressure liquid injection process results in a lighter, stronger material that produces clear detailed bass. The 8 inch woofer in this model further enhances low frequency performance and provides more output for installations in larger rooms. The ES-500s 1" fabric dome tweeter delivers smooth, natural high frequency performance. This driver combination excels with both spoken and musical content.

The goal of engineering is to produce a product that is greater than the sum of its parts. Outstanding driver voicing and a specifically engineered 2nd order cross-over network ensure precise, responsive performance and separate the ES-300 from mass-produced alternatives.

In multi-room audio installations, no two rooms are alike. Floor coverings, drapes, windows and furniture all impact how a speaker sounds in a room. With the ES-500, you can quickly adjust the tweeter's output by 3db to compensate for rooms with more or less sound absorbing materials.

We don't over-engineer the construction of Episode speakers just so that they survive bouncing around in your van (although that's important). Our build quality also eliminates one of the most common problems in architectural speaker designs—secondary speaker resonance that "colors" the sound and reduces fidelity. All you'll hear is accurate, detailed sound without the distortion.

Lots of tweeters can be aimed. But ours can be aimed when you're on the top of a ladder. . . with your client talking to you. . . your phone ringing…and nothing to hold onto other than the tweeter bridge (yes, we know you do that). So, whether it's a tweeter bridge that's tough enough to be used as a handle, or push-button speaker terminals that can be connected with one hand, we know you'll appreciate the details that make Episode speakers among the easiest to work with.
