The 2.35:1 aspect ratio movie format has been around and used by film studios for quite some time now. As projectors will undoubtedly creep into the market with the capabilities to produce a high quality image natively in this format, your home theater applications and installation requests will naturally evolve to the 2:35:1 ratio as well. Dragonfly fixed projection screens are here to support this evolution. With all the features you've come to love about Dragonfly projection screens, the question isn't why should you use a Dragonfly 2.35:1 projection screen - it's why shouldn't you?
High Contrast Screen Material
Dragonfly projection screens with High Contrast screen material are best used in a home theater installation when either room lighting can not be completely controlled or the projector being used has weak black levels. Black levels are important for contrast and if they are compromised then definition will be lost. With a gain of .9, the screen will help absorb some extra light and thus help enrich the contrast.
Velvet-Covered Beveled Aluminum Frame
Wrapped with VelTX™ covering which absorbs any overspray, the screen's frame is not only quick and easy to assemble, it also looks good too. Together with the inside beveled edge, the frame is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Quick To Assemble And Install
Your valuable time should be spent in the overall design and build of the theater room and delays from product assembly should be kept to a minimum. Dragonfly screens have been designed with SnaPerfect™ technology to provide quick installability and high quality for a tight and wrinkle free surface that only takes minutes to assemble.
Flexible Mounting Solutions
Our hanging hardware can be positioned anywhere along a built-in channel in the frame. Translation: you can position the screen where it looks the best, not where the stud is.
