No larger than your pinky nail, this high speed chip enables the cable to automatically EQ itself to support advanced video formats over distances that were previously unheard of.

While this cable supports 36-bit deep color, in rare cases there can be incompatibilities between sources, switchers and displays. If you experience a lack of picture or video dropouts, disable the 36-bit setting on your source (or set it to 24-bit).

This active cable is half the weight and half the thickness of traditional long-length cables – and its silver-coated copper conductor makes it 15% thinner than standard copper options in the same length. Plus it’s a whole lot more flexible, which makes it easier to pull in the wall or snake through conduit. Thanks to an integrated circuit in the display-end connector, this cable stays slim while sending the most advanced video formats over long distances.
